Clyde SoFrish is a guy i know for over 20 years now and since i got to know him he was always working on his Rap/HipHop carreer. After a couple of groups he was in he decided to do a solo project for 2015 with his first single release to be seen below. For this project he asked me to do one of the photographers because my style would fit his project perfectly, offcourse i could not decline since it is a very long time i even hold a camera and my triggerfinger started to ich again. I said yes, let’s do this and the results are viewable on my website in the commisions section. Enjoy the pictures and enjoy his first video below. To Clyde, good luck with your solo project and wish you all the best man!!! Thanks for the opportunity for doing the shoot with you.
For a while i was searching for new victims to shoot and found exactly the right place to hit the shutter! I was in search for a good barber for a long time till a colleague of mine came with Barbershop Schorem, Haarsnijder & Barbier and man…. they are awesome. He asked me to do the job for him and i accepted but told him i was not that experienced in portret photography. (Back in those days i focussed more on landscape photography because i thought that i wouldn’t be that good in doing portrets). In the end one of the pictures got choosen to be spread out all over rotterdam almost visible on every block in the big city. When i saw this i was truelly surprised and never thought one of the pictures that i took would be that “famous”. We did a few shoots in his own homestudio and one in belgium. The one in belgium i liked the most because of the fact it doesn’t have a standard black background but actually has some good grungy ruff textures in the back….
